Marketing research of drinking water quality in Mykolayiv and Kirovograd regions

Problems with water supplies, up to the start of large-scale invasion, were reported by 24% of respondents in Mykolayiv and 30% of Kirovograd regions. Before the reasons for disconnection were most often attributed to various types of accidents, weakening of the water pressure on the system and disconnection due to the lack of electricity. Before the water supply was reduced, there was the appearance of frost and an unpleasant odor in the water (16 and 28 respondents, in Mykolayiv and Kirovograd regions). After the beginning of a full-scale war, the Russian occupation forces urgently cut off the water supply in Mykolayiv, as a result of which there is no longer any clean drinking water in the houses of local residents. Through this, 52% of respondents (144 out of 277 respondents) in the Mykolayiv region and 27% (74 out of 278 cases) in the Kirovograd region indicated a decrease in water supply.
