Pro-Consulting has assessed Ukraine's macroeconomic indicators and prepared a forecast for 2025, considering factors that will influence these changes
Date of preparation: January 2025
Geographic coverage: Ukraine
Study period: Forecast for 2025
Context of the study:
Current economic and political events globally and in Ukraine significantly impact key macroeconomic indicators such as the exchange rate of the dollar, GDP, inflation rate, and average wages in the country. These factors, in turn, affect business development and the prices of consumer goods and services.
Methodology and sources:
The forecast was developed based on a desk study of key economic and political factors, creating optimistic, baseline, and pessimistic scenarios of events, and assessing the probability and impact of forecast factors on macroeconomic indicators under each scenario.
Results:
Based on the analysis, the following indicators were forecasted: the dollar exchange rate, inflation rate, industrial index, and policy rate (under three scenarios), the average wage level, as well as a forecast for the development of key industries (agriculture and processing, construction materials, and machinery).
